Luftbild Kiel Hafen - Von der Marineakademie zum Parlament Kaiserliche Marineakademie | Von der Marineakademie zum Parlament Kaiserliche Marineakademie (1888–1918): Das Gebäude am Düsternbrooker Weg wurde ursprünglich als Akademie für Marineoffiziere errichtet und 1888 eingeweiht. Es galt als eines der prächtigsten Bauwerke Kiels.Zwischenkriegszeit & NS-Staat: Nach 1919 musste die Akademie gemäß dem Versailler Vertrag schließen. Das Gebäude diente fortan als Sitz der Marinestation der Ostsee und während der NS-Zeit als Hauptquartier des Marineoberkommandos Ostsee.Zerstörung & Wiederaufbau: Im Zweiten Weltkrieg wurde das Haus durch Luftangriffe schwer beschädigt, insbesondere das Dach und der Südostflügel.
